Beatles Hamburg Tours will help you recapture the aura of 60's
Hamburg and take you back to where it really all began! You will
feel the atmosphere as we take you on a Beatles tour of Hamburg,
retracing the footsteps of the Beatles' time in this wonderful
city.
 We are a British based company,
and all our tours are conducted by an English speaking guide. Our
tours are run by musician Michael Purvis who played with many
bands during the 60's, 70s 80s and is still drumming today.
Michael has a great love of the Beatles and is very knowledgeable
of their early years in Hamburg, where they honed their talents to
become the most famous pop group of all time.
From 1960 to 1962, on the threshold of fame, the Beatles
performed in Hamburg at The Indra, the Kaiserkeller, the Top Ten
and the Star Club – fantastic venues which Beatles Hamburg Tours
will show you.
We will also take you to Beatles Platz, and the Pacific Hotel
where they stayed in Dec 1962 just as 'Love Me Do' entered the Top
Twenty. We will also take you around the NEW, FANTASTIC 5-floor
Beatlemania Museum which has only just recently opened and is full
of fascinating Beatle exhibits. The whole museum covers some 1300
sq metres and follows the Beatles unique musical journey.
Also on our fascinating tour are the
places where the Beatles shopped and lived in Hamburg, and
you will also visit the historic locations of Astrid Kirchherr’s
famous 60's photo shoots.
